My husband and I have been working on building our dream home for several years. With our house on the market and a general design plan in mind we enlisted the help of Angela to make this a reality for us. Angela took the time to sit with us and talk about our needs and the functionality of our open house concept. She created a 3D rendering for us taking into account our space and needs. In just a couple of days we received our plans and were thrilled to see how what we relayed to her was met in her design plans. We worked with her to ensure the appropriate modifications were met. In less than a week she captured our thoughts in this plan which we later shared with our builder.We would absolutely go through this process again with Angela.

We hired Reviving Design to gut and re-do our bathroom from nothing. Started with a meeting with Angela, to planning, to changing the plans, to gutting and rebuilding by James. Everything went extremely well from start to finish. The devil is always in the details and Angela has them all covered. The finished product is everything we hoped. Although we encountered a few issues and design changes we came in right on budget. I will definitely be using Reviving Design on future projects!

I was the executor for my late father's estate which included a large home in Brockville. The house was listed for sale for over two years with little interest despite continual dropping of the list price. The major complaint was that it needed updating; however, I'd been hoping to avoid renovations because I do not live near Brockville and I really didn't know where to start.  Fortunately, at that point Angela Jenkins contacted me through my real estate agent.  For a small fee Angela toured the house, devised a comprehensive plan for staging and renovating, and even had paint and flooring samples on hand when we first met with her only a few days later.  My husband and I were very impressed and hired her on the spot.  We were not disappointed.  Angela helped us tailor a plan to our budget and took care of everything from moving around furniture and buying staging items, to recommending and coordinating the flooring people, painter, plumber and electrician.  She then suggested additional items from her inventory in order to make the staging complete.  Within three weeks of putting the house back on the market we had our first offer and since then have had numerous showings and interest.  No one complained any more that the house needed updating, and we have now accepted an offer. I can't recommend the services of Reviving Design enough.  Angela Jenkins is professional, efficient, easy to work with, and has a definite flair for decorating and staging.  If we had made changes ourselves I know that it would have taken much longer, have been a real hassle, we would have overlooked things, and we would not have made the most of our budget.  I wish we'd known about Reviving Design two years earlier.

The Board of Directors of The Four Winds originally hired Angela to do a mock up to spruce up and modernize the lobby and 1st floor. The Board was so impressed with the detail, professionalism and knowledge that we voted to hire Angela to do the entire project. Wow, what a difference in our Cottage on Whitefish Lake. It has been transformed into a superb property for both our family and friends, and to those looking to rent it short term for vacations.

When we first met I was wondering what “cosmetic” work we could do to put it on the market for renters.  And am I glad we had that discussion and visited the cottage.

Yes, we decided to do more than I expected (like redesign the kitchen, change the flooring, and get rid of “old stuff”) but it is paying off big time now.

You know, I wasn’t going to get anyone to help us with the design, but I saw a recommendation by someone else, with photos, and I thought:  “wouldn’t it be great to get someone to advise us on what to do, rather than have family members debate and hopefully come to a consensus.”

As you know, there were still lots of opinions floating around, along with disagreements here and there.  But there sure is consensus on the finished product - nothing but good comments.

Our first vacation renters arrived just a few days ago and they are so impressed.  They were looking for a suitable place for their two families and felt that nothing seemed to fit well with them.  Then, just two days after our property, Hummingbird Haven, was posted online, they booked it.  What a relief to me!

I have only one regret; why didn’t I let you project manage the renovations and improvements from the very beginning??  I would have saved a great deal on time (aka money), there would have been much better supervision of the work being done, and I would rid myself of the stress along the way.

Still, this has been a great experience, and the end product is something we are very proud of.
