As a lifelong resident of Brockville I have lived and enjoyed the experience of the 1000 Islands and surrounding areas through work and recreation.
There comes a time when you hit the crossroads of life, which for me was the realization that it was time for a career transition.
My passion had always been within the realm of architectural and interior design and so I decided to use my aspiration and experience to create a new business.
With Reviving Design as a goal in mind, I focused and achieved a business management certificate from the Ontario Management Development Program as well as a real estate home staging certificate through the Canadian Staging Professional Association.
With over a decade of corporate work history I have extensive background in client relations, logistical coordinating and project management and I have appreciated being able to bring these skills forward, along with my creativity.
The greatest success for me is the gratification I receive from clients who have also come to their own crossroads in life –knowing I helped them get further down that road!

HOMEOWNERS REAL ESTATE AGENTS BUILDERS
Take the guess work out of preparing your house for potential buyers. A stager is trained to arrange a house to be ‘buyer ready’ and attract more attention to the property by enhancing its best features.
Consultation - You will be given a written detailed Room by Room Staging Plan for all recommendations to get your property turn-key ready, including, if necessary furniture placement, paint & product choices and any other additional information to help you prepare for the market.
Preparation Work - Before the property can be showcased, the preparation work needs to be completed. We can work with the homeowner, or alone to help pre-pack, de-clutter and clean for the staging process.
Project Management - Should there be repairs or upgrades, we can coordinate with the trades-people and set up appointments and work schedules and coordinate with them on the projects from beginning to completion.
Occupied Staging - In less than a day, your home can be showcased by rearranging your furniture and styling your home with your accessories and artwork. You may opt to purchase or rent furniture and accessories to assist in neutralizing or updating your space.
Vacant Staging - Submitting a blind bid is a no charge fee. Should the bid be accepted, in less than a day the vacant property can be showcased using furniture rentals and Reviving Design accessory rentals to fill the home. This also applies for builders who need to showcase their model homes with a lifestyle that potential buyers can see and feel.
Transitional Moves - Moving from a long term family residence to a retirement/senior townhouse or condo can be very overwhelming and emotional. We can assist in downsizing furniture and personal belongings, storage options, furniture and item selection for your new location and staging your current home for re-sale.
Inventory Rentals - Reviving Design has an inventory of home decor and accessories to use for staging. These items are rented on a monthly basis.
Shopping - We offer shopping services for materials, furniture and accessories you will want to use in your staging process. We can shop alone or if there are investment pieces to be purchased, we can certainly shop with the homeowner.
Photo & Open House - Agents can appreciate the fine details in marketing a property. We can work with the agents to rearrange furniture and accessories for a photo shoot on the spot and create a de-cluttered and proper traffic flow for open house viewings.
HOMEOWNERS BUILDERS
At times homeowner decisions can prove stressful. Seeking a third party to advise you on your design lifestyle you are trying to portray may be the first step to your vision.
Colour Consultation - Usually an hour session, I will help homeowners with choice of paint colours for their space.
Design Consultation - Initial consultation consists of a walk through and a sit down session with the homeowners to talk about the wants, needs, budget and I will have a questionnaire for you to find out your style. I will return with a design presentation which could consist of colour scheme, furniture placement, lighting usage, fabrics, flooring, accessories, art and floor plan, kitchen and bath ideas.
Project Management - Communicating with the different specialized trades-people, ordering and purchasing materials, setting up appointments and work schedules and coordinate with them from beginning to completion of the renovation project.
New Build Design Finishes - We will work with the builders and homeowners to assist in material finishes for new build homes. This includes choosing flooring, cabinetry, countertops, lighting & plumbing fixtures, hardware, backsplashes and paint.
Home Organization - We will work with you to determine what style of organization best fits you and your family and provide a plan in the areas you need assistance with. Each step can be spent with the homeowner or have Reviving Design do a clean sweep.
